What are Spirulina Tablets

Spirulina is one of the small number of plant sources of vitamin B12, commonly found only in animal tissues. 3g of Spirulina provide 21/2 times the RDA of vitamin B12 and contains greater than twice the amount of this vitamin found in an equivalent serving of liver. Spirulina Powder is a blue-green algae. The name spirulina is from the Latin word for helix denoting the physical structure of the organism when it forms swirling, microscopic strands.
